          Hi everyone, my name is Lucia Rodriguez and I am currently a sophomore in high school! I am so excited to finally be doing the final task for this class. This class has been quite the journey but I feel like I have learned so much in such a short amount of time. This class piqued my interest since it gave me the opportunity to engage in numerous filming processes and see the media come to life. I was hoping to have a better understanding of the work involved in producing these events. After doing two projects for this class, I can confidently say that I have actively been involved in the behind the scenes and it is just as cool as I imagined it to be. This class also allowed me to form bonds with my classmates through a common interest while also learning how these industries work. Filming at the fair!

Our group finally began the first day of filming today! The location of choice for our commercial was the fair, which presented a couple challenges that we anticipated. As the filming started, we recognized that we could get some great shots outside of the fair because there were fewer people which made things look cleaner and organized. My team members suggested that we include an extra scene because it would help build anticipation. One scene that they suggested was of a friend group that included three actors looking at the fair from the fair's parking lot.  The colorful lights coming from the rides along with attractions such as the Ferris wheel looked aesthetically pleasing. This scene contributed to the group's building-up excitement towards the fair. This extra scene did take up a bit of time because we had to redo it a couple of times, and it was not in our original plan. Scheduling Mishap

It was now time to begin the film of our project. The storyboard and script were finished, and planning was done... or so we thought. I had recently gotten a job and band season was beginning for me and another member. This completely ruined our previous recording schedule and it had to be redone entirely. We sat down in class and started to think of the days we could film, it was very limited. Although spring break seems like the best time, I will be in El Salvador the entire time. Weekends were off-limits since that is when band practices are. We all started to announce the days which were unusable. The calendar slowly got more and more filled until finally we all finished. We were left with three days; Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. These three days were back to back which is perfect for refilming and fixing up different mistakes.
