Group Blog
Hi everyone, my group members for this project are Mia Obritis, Kai Lobban, and Willow Rivera! I am so excited to work with two members I've had for the previous projects in this class along with our new member. We had been the same team for two projects but one of our members wanted to work on their own, but luckily we were able to find someone to replace them. I am confident our new member will be a good addition to the group because she is very hardworking and detail-oriented. Our project at hand is to create an opening sequence of an original film that includes the titles and the start of the storyline that is no longer than 2 minutes. My group has not picked a concept for the film yet but it does not seem like a difficult task and I feel like we'll be able to figure it out quickly. We have already assigned roles so everyone knows how to contribute to the film. Willow and I have decided to be actors because we are experienced with these roles, while Mia is an editor and Kai is our director and filmer. I am excited to be an actor again because my last role was fun and I felt like I played a big role in our finished product. If we pace ourselves properly and set dates to film I think the production process will run smoothly. A big issue that we are gonna face now is the lack of transportation that we need to film. In previous projects, one of our members had a car so we relied on them to take us to the filming locations. This new bump in the road is kind of like a test to see how we adapt to changes and overcome problems. I think that if we decide on a location with time and know what dates we are gonna film, it would be easier to make ride arrangements. We have decided how we will divide the work ahead of time so that we could all contribute individually and as a team. The next time we come together, we'd like to work on our storyboard and script so that we're better prepared for the filming process. I'm hoping that we'll be able to shoot everything in the time given to us, so we can prove our time management skills. We will create a schedule later that goes more in-depth about the times we need to film and where it will be. I am convinced that if we prepare ahead of time and stay on track, we will be able to effectively accomplish this project. This music video will be remarkable because the production team is diligent and meticulous!
