Additional Information Blog

Location:

We are planning to shoot the majority of the film in a park near a team member's home. Here we will have our establishing shot, and characters introduced. This will allow for our storyline to be understood by the audience and flow better. Later, the scenes will be shot in our main character's neighborhood and then their house. This will help wrap up the story and give the audience an ending they can understand. 

Participants: 

Three members of our group are going to be included in the film. Kai is going to be our director and filming. Willow is going to play the main character of the stalker. While Lucy will play the secondary character of the girl being stalked. Our last remaining member will be focusing on needed background characters and editing.

Schedule:

3/7/22: Our group established props, costumes, makeup, and location

3/10/22: Our group will have started filming our production 

3/14/22: Our group will have shot the first 10 slides of the film

3/17/22: Our group will have shot 10 slides of the film

3/28/22: Our group will have shot the last 10 slides of the film


3/31/22: Our group will have finished editing and final touches 

Health: 

Due to Covid-19, we all will wear masks for the duration of 

filming. Only the characters being filmed will take off their masks. Regarding the location, it is near one of the member's houses and has a safe history. If one of our members were to get sick, we will continue filming the scenes they are not in until they feel better. 

Backup Plan: 

If our park plan does not work out, we will go to a beach area. It will allow the story to still make sense. If we can not film in our main character’s neighborhood, we can switch to another one of our group member's houses. If a member is absent or unavailable, we will either film the scenes they are not in or begin the editing process.

A girl is one of few to survive the zombie apocalypse. She runs into another non-infected human and they have to get through together. Our first pitch is unique from the commonly chosen ideas. It would help in showing off creativity and originality. While also providing a well-thought-out and evolved finished project. Although the mis-en-scene would be difficult to accomplish for any of the scenes. Zombie make-up and attire would have to research, bought, and learned. Plus the fact that none of us leave in an area that would suit this project whether that be a woods or generally dark area. It emphasizes the idea that this girl is one of the few, which would force us to need backup actors to play the zombies. Not only would we have to find multiple actors for only a few scenes, but we would also have to work around their schedule and pay extra supplies for their make-up and costume. Film Review

 The project is almost finished after a month of filming, re-filming, and editing. We are relieved and thankful that this project is nearly completed. The entire process of creating the video was enjoyable for us. Although some aspects, such as filming, were more challenging. The initial planning, storyboarding, and filming, in our opinion, were the best parts of the entire endeavor. Everyone was allowed to express their innovative thoughts here, and we all knew what to do. The editing process, on the other hand, was not as simple. Unfortunately, only one of our team members was capable of editing and assembling the music video. The rest of us had no choice but to sit and watch what our groupmate were doing. It appears that certain scenes will need to be reshot. It will need to be altered, whether because of the length of the lighting. The transitions in the editing must be examined and re-examined. I'm sure there are other alternatives that would better suit the film's story....
