  The film is finally finished after a month of filming, re-filming, and editing. I feel a lot better now that things are finally completed. The completion of this cinematic endeavor makes me happier than ever! Making an opening sequence was a lot of fun for me even though the editing process was challenging and frustrating. I believe I am improving with time which is what is important. The initial planning, storyboarding, and actual filming were my favorite parts of the project. I knew what I needed to do and how to do it during the planning stage. These portions of the project appeared to come naturally to me in terms of creativity, which made it more fun. I had to adjust to things quickly and work efficiently throughout the entire process of developing this film. All of the work that needed to be done felt overwhelming at times, but my teammates supported and inspired me. The film review definitely brought a lot of attention to issues within our film that we wanted to rectifiy right away! Our biggest priority when creating this film was making it better than previous projects so our audience could enjoy it. The issues we found when doing the film review included reshooting, fixing transitions, and following the theme. Reshooting was quite difficult because we had to schedule a day to get the scenes done and have everyone wear the same thing from before. Some members had trouble getting a ride so we were on limited time, but we worked with what we had and ultimately got it done. We had to compare the new footage to our old footage to make sure proper changes occurred and we wouldn't need to refilm anything again. The second issue was the transitions used for the film while we were editing. Our editor used the same transition throughout the whole film so things looked repetitive and unprofessional. I went to check our commercial this morning to make sure it was flawless once more. Something seemed odd when I finished it. I decided to watch it again, and this time I noticed what was wrong. There was no sped-up footage in any of the scenes! The music and video became out of sync as a result which needed immediate fixing. I had no idea what had gone wrong so this was a very confusing time. Between yesterday and today, I struggled to recall what had transpired. My mind went completely blank. It was fine yesterday, but not so much today. I re-watched the video several times. Only to be met with silence. When I went to save the video to my phone, I discovered it was messed up. I sent a message to my pals asking them to resend the video, and I'll try to save it again. The video was flawless when they eventually submitted it. The scenes didn't start to speed up until I saved them to my phone. I emailed it to myself, but it still wouldn't play. I tried to come up with a differ...

 The project is almost finished after a month of filming, re-filming, and editing. We are relieved and thankful that this project is nearly completed. The entire process of creating the video was enjoyable for us. Although some aspects, such as filming, were more challenging. The initial planning, storyboarding, and filming, in our opinion, were the best parts of the entire endeavor. Everyone was allowed to express their innovative thoughts here, and we all knew what to do. The editing process, on the other hand, was not as simple. Unfortunately, only one of our team members was capable of editing and assembling the music video. The rest of us had no choice but to sit and watch what our groupmate were doing. It appears that certain scenes will need to be reshot. It will need to be altered, whether because of the length of the lighting. The transitions in the editing must be examined and re-examined. I'm sure there are other alternatives that would better suit the film's story....

Production has begun, and it is safe to say that I am ready to get to work! I found that before we can start filming, it is important to pick and establish which songs we are gonna use for our project. Seeing how our theme is thriller/scary it would make the most sense to find suspenseful and eery soundtracks to place behind our music. I also need to include some upbeat songs because there are still some happy scenes throughout the film. The whole concept is two girls having a great reunion with an unexpected spectator. Most of the film would be upbeat, but the eery and creepy soundtrack would be used when the stalker appears. There will be a lot of dialogue throughout the film so the background music will not be too prominent, but it still needs to be heard. It is important to research ahead of time and read the descriptions before using these soundtracks because many of them are copyrighted. Hello everyone, as you are probably are aware today is the final day of editing! We ran into an unforeseen issue that caused our editing process to be delayed. Unfortunately, we had recorded far too much footage, which did not match the concept. We had taken this additional film to include new sequences, but it ran over the time restriction, causing our film to be out of sync with the storyboard. The simple option would be to remove these segments, but we felt that they added to the overall quality of our film. As a result, I proposed that we cut several clips to make way for an additional scenario. Our editor Mia agreed with my suggestion and deleted footage to allow for the inclusion of the extra sequence in the final cut. I wanted to maintain our clips in chronological sequence since it adds to the suspense and allows viewers to follow the events of the day. Hi everyone, we finally finished our two days of filming and are ready to begin editing. Our designated editor is Mia Obraitis, so she will be editing the film with the help of our input and opinions. We will be using iMovie because it has worked well for us in previous projects. Since Mia is a new member, we all are getting used to how she does her work and what her preferences are in editing. iMovie has always been easy to understand which helps us contribute during the editing process. Everyone was excited to give their input because we felt our creativity flow a lot during the filming process. We decided as a group to split the editing into two days so we can pay attention to detail and produce the best quality film. Hi everyone, today is our second day of filming! Things progressed greatly during the last time and we are hoping for a productive day. As we were reviewing footage from the previous day, I realized that some scenes could be refilmed to improve quality. We were rushing to get all of the shots yesterday because we had a tight schedule which ultimately impacted the quality of our film. We were able to record about 50% of our film on the first filming day so our goal is to finish the rest today. Our schedule is a little more relaxed because everyone agreed to extend it to 2 hours longer. We pride ourselves on capturing small details and creating the best product for viewers. We were working through some errors in our script and realized we needed to edit some things and improvise while filming. When I wrote the script I was not thinking about how short the actual film was so I ended up writing too much dialogue. We were able to start recording for our short film today! It was difficult finding a time that worked for everyone, but we were finally able to agree on a day after many scheduling errors. We only had 2 hours to film today because each team member had to be picked up by 5:30. Some may have seen this as a setback, but I feel like this allowed us to be more productive and work efficiently because of the timer. We organized ourselves and created a schedule that helped us get things done in an orderly manner. It had rained earlier in the day before we got to the location of the film which was a park near my home and the surrounding neighborhood. We quickly adapted to this change and took advantage of the gloomy effect the rain gave off. It was now time to begin the film of our project. The storyboard and script were finished, and planning was done... or so we thought. I had recently gotten a job and band season was beginning for me and another member. This completely ruined our previous recording schedule and it had to be redone entirely. We sat down in class and started to think of the days we could film, it was very limited. Although spring break seems like the best time, I will be in El Salvador the entire time. Weekends were off-limits since that is when band practices are. We all started to announce the days which were unusable. The calendar slowly got more and more filled until finally we all finished. We were left with three days; Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. These three days were back to back which is perfect for refilming and fixing up different mistakes. Sheet 2: On this sheet, after reconnecting, running, and catching up on their past they take a break at the playground of the park. Taking their water break at the swingset they can't help but feel exhausted. wanting to go home they have set their mind to go to lucy's house. Location: We are planning to shoot the majority of the film in a park near a team member's home. Here we will have our establishing shot, and characters introduced. This will allow for our storyline to be understood by the audience and flow better. Later, the scenes will be shot in our main character's neighborhood and then their house. The opening sequence starts with the editing team showcasing the main actors with little white dots all around the background. It then shows the film director in the words of "a Rodrigo Cortex FIlm". The title of the film is then shown and then the cast list continued. After all the actors are named, the titles of the production team are recognized. People like the costume designer, editor, special effects, and production are named. 2. What connations do the images carry out? (how do they make you feel?" The film opens with a black background with almost flashing lights as the main characters are named. Images of old polaroids of different bodies, skulls, and many pictures and statues of Jesus. At first, we were researching a website that would have examples of opening sequences to help give us ideas about what we were supposed to do. While searching for credible websites we came across www.artofthetitle.com. They provide several opening sequence examples that would fit well for various genres. Not only that they provide lists of graphic designers and studios as to where these opening sequences were used. With this large arrangement of opening sequences, this website has the pleasure of proving title design sequences for Emmy nominated films like " The Queens Gambit". They also provide news to information in the film industry and stylistic changes that have been made.
